St. John's College Green Eagles, the undefeated No. 1 seed, will play for gold tonight at 8 o'clock at the provincial high school girls Quad A basketball championship in Hamilton.

The Eagles play No. 2 seed Burlington Notre Dame at Cathedral Secondary School.

St. John's won its semifinal game earlier today 51-43 over Hamilton's St. Mary's Crusaders.

St. John's fought from behind in the fourth quarter to nail down its 44th consecutive victory. Kayla Santilli scored 21 points for the Eagles.

The bronze medal game between St. Mary's and John Paul II takes place at 6 p.m. at Cathedral.
